Indoor Worship Tomorrow!

President Jack Heisler's pilot friend has this to say about the weather tomorrow:

"It's gonna rain like the dickens."

So...worship has been moved indoors tomorrow. However, we will gather in Luther Hall and will use our powers of imagination to pretend we are in the great outdoors!

Come at 10 am to begin worship with a special translation of St. Francis' "Canticle of the Sun", followed by singing "Morning Has Broken" (Cat Stevens, anyone?)

We'll be joined by the guitar music of Allison Boccia and Bryce Sova, an informal sermon, and communion around a table dressed in a quilt made by Bethany's own Piecers.

Bring your picnic lunch and stay around to enjoy some singing and fellowship. We might be indoors, but we won't let a little rain ruin our Sunday!

(One thing that will have to wait is the trip out to see the Fruits of Faith Garden. Thanks, Pam, for having the wonderful idea. We'll make it happen another day!)

***Please, if you know of someone without internet access, call them tonight and let them know the new plan for worship!

In Christ,

Pastor Carrie
